Castillo Studios

Tommy and Sammy Castillo have been in the illustration industry a combined 46+ years.  Together they have put paint and pencil to such projects as Batman Detective, Legends of the Dark Knight, Tales from the Crypt, Green Arrow, Toetags, with Horror legend George Romero; Alice in Wonderland, King Kong, Coloring book of the Dead, The Dark side of OZ, various storyboards and designs for films, and many more of the beloved classics in literature.

They have also had the honor of working with many of the fields largest companies: Strathmore Artist Papers, DC Comics, Regal Cinemas, Paramount Pictures, Hasbro, Games workshop: Warhammer, Wizards of the Coast, Ultra Pro, Wyrd Games, as well as work in the video game industry and publications as offbeat as Rolling Stone magazine.  Their unique style and insane pencil work has earned them a place as some of the most sought out artists in the world.

Since Tommy’s passing in 2017, Sammy mans the helm of their Studio now and continues on with their projects and legacy under the flag of Castillo Studios.  When not on the road at conventions you can find Sammy in her studio likely live streaming regaling her viewers with tales and adventures.
